Antique Milk Glass Vase Pink Bell Flowers Hand Painted 10.5” Green Enamel Gilt

Description:

This item is a striking antique milk glass vase, featuring a pale green satingloss finish with handpainted floral detailing and gilt accents. The tall form, standing approximately 10.5 inches, is adorned with pink bellshaped flowers and green foliage, making it an excellent representation of late 19th to early 20thcentury decorative glassware.

Product Details:

• Type: Decorative Vase

• Material: Milk Glass (Opaque light green)

• Height: Approx. 10.5 inches (26.7 cm)

• Design: Handpainted enamel pink flowers with gilt bands

• Era: Likely late 1800s to early 1900s

• Origin: Unmarked

Design Highlights:

• Elegant flared lip and wide base design, with bulbous midsection

• Delicately painted pink bell flowers and large leafy green foliage

• Soft pistachio green base tone with gilded trim at the rim and shoulder

• Raised enamel work gives a slightly textured floral finish

• Base features typical antique manufacturing marks, including bubbles and pontil scars

Condition:

Acceptable antique condition. There is noticeable wear to the gilt trim, especially around the rim and shoulder band. The floral painting shows some fading, with spots where the enamel has worn off. No chips or cracks detected. The base shows standard agerelated wear and factory bubbling in the glass.

About Antique Milk Glass:

Valued for its smooth, opaque finish and pastel tints, it became a popular medium for vases, lamps, and decorative tableware.
