This beautiful set of two vintage otter sculptures features a charming wildlife design, each piece crafted in ceramic with a bronzeeffect finish. One otter is depicted stretching forward, while the other is curled into a circular resting pose, creating a complementary and dynamic display when placed together.


Both pieces showcase detailed sculpting, particularly in the webbed paws, facial expressions, and flowing tail forms. The underside of each sculpture is signed “J. W…” and dated 1992, indicating studio craftsmanship from the early 1990s.

There is visible finish wear and paint loss across both sculptures, especially along raised areas where the lighter ceramic shows through. The curled (circular) otter has a small chip on the tip of one nail (clearly shown in the closeup photo). Minor scuffs and surface marks consistent with age and handling are present. Undersides show wear and agerelated marks. No major cracks or structural damage observed.
