The Gylsboda quarry in Sweden, located in the province of Scania, has a long history of being a significant source for this stone. It has been used for various artistic and functional purposes, from sculptures to memorial stones. The stone's deep black color, often with subtle white or gray veins, makes it highly sought after for decorative items. The Bording Diabas company is known for creating highquality, handfinished products that celebrate the raw beauty of this geological material. These pieces are not just candle holders; they are a piece of Swedish geological and artistic heritage.
