This modified version of the figurine first appeared around 1965 and was priced at $26.50 for the set, known as HUM 250 A&B. Typically, these bookends are found with trademark designs ranging from TMK3 to TMK6. However, there is a possibility of encountering an earlier TMK2 mark due to unique cases within Goebel's productions. Goebel marked these items as "temporarily withdrawn" (TW) from production on December 31, 1989, with no specified date for reinstatement.
